Introducing the method of dialogue-orientated evaluation of the project work.

Aims of the Activity

This activity shall:

  • Teachers can use this activity as an Introduction to the topic
  •  It opens the minds of teacher/trainers (and students) to a new form of evaluati
  • Teachers/Trainers will learn that this form of evaluation is a form of metacognition, which supports the learning processes of the students.

Methodology to Implement and Develop the Activity

It is used for teachers themselves:

  • The teachers reflect on questions they would ask their students while using this new method
  • Document all questions and compare them with the ones that appear in the handout 

It is implemented by teachers with their students:

  • The teacher introduces the dialogue-orientated evaluation
  • The teacher asks the students for questions they would consider important while using this new method
  • Document all answers and compare them with the ones that appear in the handout

Guidance once the activity is over

Evaluation is an ongoing process. Therefore, teachers/trainers will get to know which questions are necessary for the evaluation of their project work and which are not.
